It has once again been too long since I posted, but I have a great excuse! I have been working really, really hard in organizing the First Annual Intern & Resident Advocates Association (IRAA) National Gathering in conjunction with the AAOA and AOA Unified Convention in San Francisco!! Things are finally starting to come together and I will continue to work on this big project until its fruition next month!! Until then, I wanted to just share a few books that I have come across in the last year that you may be interested in reading. One of these days I will read them and review them for you here as well! Afterall, no one can deny that I am a complete bookworm!! :)

The Medical Marriage: Sustaining Healthy Relationships for Physicians and Their Families by Wayne Sotile

Thanks for posting this!

You're welcome Marcy! :)
I can personally recommend Something for the Pain by Paul Austin for anyone currently in an Emergency Medicine rotation or considering it. Excellent book that straddles the authors life in the ER and his life at home.
Not a "how to" but a book that opened my eyes to my husbands work as an intern in the ER and that I identified with already when he described coming off of night shifts!
BakerGirl . . . Thanks for the additional recommendation!! I will add this one to my list as well!! Just curious . . . would you be interested in writing something up to post about it on this site?!? If so, email me at whimsicalmsw at gmail dot com!!
